The event consists of a Friday night dance,
a Saturday workshop, a banquet and costume ball.
Sunday has a master class (additional fee).

Leader: Barbara Finney (Boston, MA)

Barbara Finney is a regular caller at the dances in Boston, has been on staff at Pinewoods Camp, and has led many English dance weekends and balls, including our own, in 1995. 
Articulate, genial, serene, Barbara is noted for her clear teaching and welcoming presence. We are delighted to have a return visit from Barbara. In addition to English Country dance, she has been an active morris dancer and sword dancer.

Music: Childgrove (Ann Arbor, MI)

Childgrove features Martha Stokely on oboe, pennywhistle, recorder, and kazoo, Debbie Jackson on piano, and Ann Ogren on fiddle and viola.
The three bring their fluid, eclectic approach to the elegant and compelling melodies of English country dance, drawing on their backgrounds including classical, Celtic, jazz, Klezmer. and other intricate styles featuring complex rhythms and unusual harmonies. The effect is always spirited and completely danceable. Hearing this music makes you want to learn the dances that go with it.
